What a sponsorship is

A creator publishes a page and offers placements: on the body, on kit, on a digital surface or inside a piece of content. Each placement has a price the creator sets and a quantity of one. It is not an auction: nobody can outbid you, and a placement you have paid for cannot be taken from you.

What you pay for

Your clickable logo, name and link on the campaign page for the duration of the campaign, plus the delivery the creator describes on the placement — a race-day application, a printed textile, a mention. The exact deliverable is the creator's description; read it before you pay.

Payment, approval, refusal

• Payment is processed by Stripe. Confirmed payment is not approval: the creator reviews every logo before it appears publicly.
• If the creator refuses your logo, a refund is requested. The placement reopens to everyone only once that refund reaches a confirmed state.
• A placement is reserved for fifteen minutes while you complete checkout. If you do not, it returns to the page automatically.

Money and commission

The platform retains a commission on each placement sold, shown to the creator as gross, commission and net before other costs. The creator's share is released after the event, once the visibility has been delivered. A funding target displayed on a page is an intention, not guaranteed income.

What the creator is responsible for

The creator owns the media on their page, must be allowed to publish it, and is responsible for what they carry — including the rules of the event they take part in. The platform is a technical intermediary, not the organiser of the event.

Points to settle with a lawyer

Intermediary status, VAT on the commission, invoicing of sponsors, and payment-services obligations when a platform collects on behalf of third parties. These are named here rather than hidden.
